Two compact Walkman DVD-players

The Japanese unit of Sony has unveiled two compact DVD-players under Walkman trademark – D-VE7000S and DVP-FX810. The first is equipped with a 7” LCD and the second
with an 8” one. Both players will come to retail in June.

The DVP-FX810 is expected to provide up to 6 hours of continuous playback. There is the support of DVD +RW/+R/+R DL/-RW/-R/-R DL, including copyrighted disks (CPRM). The player is packed in a folding form.

The D-VE7000S player stands out for its slim size and light weight – 27.9 mm and 775 g. It is supplied with a base with built-in speakers for a more comfortable watching. There is the support of DVD +RW/+R/+R DL/-RW/-R/-R DL formats. The playback time with the LCD on is only 3 hours.
